February Hearts Wallhanging

Robyn over at Daisy Quilts is hosting an on-line sewing adventure!

It took me longer to decide what colours to use than it did to make! :-0
Thankyou Robyn for sharing you lovely wallhanging with us all!!

Colourful Friday - Favourite Colours

I do love a range of colours, but I think this quilt encapsulates my pastel favourites being pink, blue, yellow & green with a dash of red.

I really enjoyed doing this quilt, piecing the blocks, the applique and the stipple quilting.

If you'd like a splash more colour, pop over to Robyn @ Daisy Quilts.
Cheers....Jane.

Blogger Issue

Aren't they cute. Thought I'd post this pic as a test......I've had blogger issues....my posts not updating in others blog lists! Fingers crosses that I've fixed it!
Cheers....Jane.

Smarty Pants

Weekend sewing produced a pair of Monica Poole's 'Smarty Pants'. The pattern went together well.

These ones I made for Pj's.

This is a close up of some vintage linen I purchased at the last market day.
They're in excellent condition.

It's interesting to see what stitches they used for embroidery & crochet on the edges.

Market

This week I have been sewing a few more bits ready for market on Saturday. This time I've added some potholders, a couple more bibs and another table runner.
Have a good weekend everyone and stay safe.
Cheers....Jane.

Quilters Diary 2011

I received a lovely diary as a gift from a friend but had already purchased this one.

It has lots of inspiration inside...

So I got busy & used some of my favourite fabric scraps, machine embroidery & crochet to create a cover for my diary, which I've decided to use as a journal for all things crafty.

Birdies

Firstly...Happy New Year....I hope 2011 brings you health and all things that make you happy!!

On the way home from Launceston last week this cage caught my eye....perfect for a couple of little birds.

Lisa suggested I make these as they are quick and easy to do....the pattern is in Homespun No. 87. I think they should be quite cosy in their little cage with a pincushion nest to rest on at night!
