"Sweet Nothings"

The stitcheries for this wallhanging by Sally Giblin I've had done for a while now & I thought it was about time I got it completed. I probably would have had it finished it a week ago, but I decided I would crochet around the pockets & the outside of the wallhanging.
The crochet part of it I really enjoyed, although it wasn't part of the original design but sometimes it nice to go off & have fun with it.

The hooks on the hanger and pockets will be handy for Miss J to store her bits & pieces.
So there you go sister, blog post done.......LOL.
Hope you all have a happy & creative weekend.

Easy Bag

I had the fabric & handles, so I got busy on Sunday afternoon to make Leanne Beasley's 'the easiest bag you'll every make', out of her book Romancing the road trip.....I thought Natalie Lymer's zipper pouch would go with the bag nicely & as I had enough fabric left over I thought I'd give that a go also.
Hope you're all having a good week.

Tilda

I luv all things Tilda & the following I've made from her book 'Sew Pretty Homestyle'.

I really enjoyed doing this button bag.
A little make-up purse.
And a bag...all of these projects a quick & easy to make. Finally I would like to thank you all for the warm welcome you gave me on my intro to blogland. It's now nice to be a part of it all.
Hope you all have a fun weekend.

My Favourite Things

I've enjoyed visiting Blogland over the past few months & decided it was time to take the plunge & set up my own Blog. My sister has been onto me for some time now, but as I'm a bit of a snail it's taken me until now to get organised!
The following are some of my favourtite craft things:

A cross stitch bunny from the in-built designs on my embroidery machine.

This embroidery is from the 'Pyjama Party' CD which I made into a PJ bag, this was an attempt at getting Miss J to keeep them tidy!

Heart embroidery on mini photo album.

A bag I made out of Country Threads.

The last pic is a table runner I made with Moda, 'A day in the country' charm squares.
Hope you enjoyed your visit.
