SAL Prize & Crochet

A little while ago I won this prize in Chooky's SAL.

I was very lucky to also receive this bonus also!!

I purchased some Flower Sugar fabric & Anni's new book from Sharon's on-line store. A big thankyou Sharon for donating the voucher & being so obliging!

After seeing Lisa's lovely pile of crochet, I decided I'd like a pile too.  I'm trying to do one of each colour that I have & perhaps a couple of extra neutral & white.

Birthday Gifts

These beautiful items were created by my clever FIS on-line stitching group member Sue. The challenge was to create items beginning with the letter of our hometown.

FIS Blocks

These are blocks 3, 4 & 5 of our online stitching group. I'm unsure of the colours in the first one....but will look at it again when the rest are finished. I'm thinking of making mine into a mini quilt.

Colourful Friday - Sunsets

I didn't really get any pics of a sunset of such due to cloudy days....peoples roofs being in the way & not having my camera on the way back from town last Friday!!
What I did get are some pics I call,  'As the Sun goes down over Freycinet'.

New Needlecase

The weekend saw me create this....

with a little bit of machine embroidery and some crochet...

lined with wool to park needles......

a name, plus date and all is complete....my new needlecase!

Weekend Crafting
