I was chatting with Peg via email & said that I would post some punchneedle. The following are some stitcheries that I did a little while ago. Punchneedles are such a versatile tool as you can use them to fill an entire design, for reverse straight stich, ribbon embroidery and a whole lot more. You'll find that your work progressing quickly with this tool. The stitchery below is a favourite from Christine Books' pre printed collection.
Changing the length of the needle creates longer/shorter loops, handy for flower petals.
The couple are done with the reverse straight stitch.
This one I did using ribbon & the large needle.
Hope you all have an enjoyable weekend......I'm off now to pack up for the 'Autumn Gathering'.
Only one more sleep...............can't wait!!!

Never used or seen a punchneedle here in Italy, but your works are astonishing, unbelievable. The way you use fabrics, threads and colors is wonderful. Congratulations and thank you for sharing. xxx Clara.

This is wonderful. I've never thought to do a straight stitch either with the punch needle OR use ribbon for that matter. Think I might have to get mine out again. Great post!
