I've decided today that I would join in on Robyn's Colourful Fridays. The above is a bridesmaids dress I made and wore when my sister was married.
The crochet blanket in this lot of pics is my first effort at crochet some years ago!
A few of hubby's conduit and cables.
The flower in the centre of the pic is s a variety of Leucospermum...relative of the South African Protea. It does well here on the coast, surviving summers without water and attracts not only birds & bees!!
For some more colour visit Robyn.
Have a great weekend all......Jane.
Mast N's last years primary teacher has recently had a baby. I decided to make her a little something and this is the result. I used to make these for my kids when they were little.
I've been doing a bit of home decor sewing lately, making curtains for our bedroom last week and yesterday I thought I'd make some pillow slips, as mine are a getting a bit tatty.
Might have to whip up some more of these.
If you need to bake but you really don't feel like it, this is the cake for you! It a Green's English Tea Cake....yes a packet cake but if you tried it you wouldn't know the difference. I made the variation, Apple Cinnamon Tea Cake...Yummy!!
I stepped out of my comfort zone making these EBCC gifts. Normally I prefer the pastel shades but, being a practical type of person, I though dark fabrics would suit these little bags.
Jelly roll strips make them quick to put together.
Using some leftover scraps I cut out a couple of key tags....Miss J tells me the ribbon is too wide (used what I had) and hubby said he didn't like the black edge....guess you can't please everyone!!
Happy Grand Final Day...Jane.
